The intention of the Women’s Motorcycle Summit is 


To provide opportunities for women to develop and refine their skills while encouraging the art of women mentoring women and serving people in the motorcycle community.

What is the Women’s Motorcycle Summit?

A 4-­day All-Inclusive Women’s Motorcycle Adventure

Are there two Women’s Motorcycle Summits in 2017?

Yes. In 2017, responding to many riders urging the SHS to come east, the Women’s Motorcycle Summit will take place in two distinctly separate locations, located in two very different types of basecamps producing two very different, yet similar events.

When and where do the 2017 Women’s Motorcycle Summits take place?

  • June 7th – 11th, 2017 The Colorado Rockies
    Twin Peaks Lodge & Hot Springs Ouray, Colorado
  • October 4th – 9th, 2017 The Smoky Mountains of Tennessee & North Carolina
    Hearthside Massive Cabins Pigeon Forge, TN

Is it true that we can Fundraise and earn a FREE Ticket to the Women’s Motorcycle Summit?

Before You Register: The Important Things to Know

  • In order to register for the 4-Day Women’s Motorcycle Summit as a rider, you must be 21 years old at the time the Summit takes place.
  • The $150 registration fee and all donations are non-refundable and non-transferable. This means that once a donation is posted to a rider’s account it cannot be moved to another rider’s account for any reason, regardless of whether or not you’re able to participate in the Summit. Additionally, donations cannot be refunded.
  • All riders must have medical insurance at the time of the Summit. (If you don’t have health coverage, you may request a waiver.)
  • The Women’s Motorcycle Summit reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to refuse registration and/or participation to anyone at any time before or during the Summit.
  • Registered passengers who are 16, 17, 18, 19 or 20 years of age must provide a minor consent form signed by a parent or guardian and be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is also a registered rider for the duration of the Women’s Motorcycle Summit.

Is there a minimum age requirement to register for the Summit?

Riders must be at least 21 years of age at the time the Summit takes place in order to participate. Registered passengers who are 16, 17, 18, 19 or 20 years of age must provide a minor consent form signed by a parent or guardian and be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is also a registered rider for the duration of the Women’s Motorcycle Summit. Volunteers must be 18 years of age at the time of the Summit.

Is there an insurance requirement to register for the Summit?

Yes. You must provide proof of medical insurance on the medical form in order to participate. This applies to all registered participants, including riders, passengers and volunteers. Personal health insurance is needed to cover the cost of any medical care received during the 4-Day Summit. If you do not currently have insurance, we suggest you obtain temporary insurance.

I live outside the United States. Can I participate in the event?

Yes. You do not need to live inside the U.S. to participate in the Summit.

Can persons with disabilities participate in the Summit?

Yes. The Summit is committed to addressing the needs of all of our participants, including those with disabilities, in order to provide a safe, fun and successful Summit experience. Coaches and tools are available to support every participant through registration, fundraising and training.

Is the Summit held in bad weather?

Whatever the weather, the Summit continues. So please be prepared for riding in inclement weather. If the weather gets too severe, we will have a back-up plan.

  • Sunshine – We ride, then enjoy the Hot Springs.
  • Rain – We enjoy getting to know each other … and the Hot Springs.

How do you chose the locations?

Each location:

  • Is intentionally located in the middle of North America’s best motorcycle riding.
  • Presents a perfect riding adventure filled with limitless potential for riders of all skill levels.
  • Features remote, luxury base camps showcasing the dynamic beauty of Mother Nature.

What is the Base Camp?

Our main encampment providing all accommodations which will include: beautiful sleeping rooms, communications for the Summit Challenge, hot springs soaking tubs, meals, entertainment, vendors, and the Saturday Celebration Party for all participants of the Women’s Motorcycle Summit.

I will be attending the Summit in my RV. Can we reserve a specific parking location? Camping? An alternative Motel or Hotel?
