Steel Horse Sisterhood Charities Announces Kickstands Up

Loveland, Colorado – Steel Horse Sisterhood Charities (SHSC) is pleased to announce the 2016 Women’s Motorcycle Summit season and the two(2) unique planned events pairing skilled women riders in the motorcycle community with women at the novice and intermediate levels to compete in Summit Challenges. These two events are the first of their kind in the Women’s Motorcycle Community.

The Summit Challenge is open to women of all skill levels, on all brands of motorcycles. Men are welcome and encouraged to ride in the couple divisions with their partner.

The 3-Day Opening Summit located in Ouray, Colorado, the Little Switzerland of America, where each female rider, joined with 2-3 additional riders, will compete as a team on this self-guided, targeted, skills-enhancing 3-Day Challenge.

The Challenge culminates on Saturday, June 11th with the Girls Out West Fest, celebrating Women and closing the 2016  Women’s Motorcycle Summit hosted by Lady Road Dog and Company.

The 3-Day Opening Summit marks a break in the 10-Day Rocky Mountain Motorcycle Summit Challenge Tour wherein 20 Women will have the opportunity to ride in this separate class. “Riding the Rockies for 10-Days in the manner that we have mapped out, will change your life. It’s that simple.” says Joan Krenning, AKA Lady Road Dog. Participants of the Tour will be treated to the best rides the Rockies has to offer including accommodations at premier Hot Springs Resorts located in Colorado and Wyoming.

  • June 9 – 11, 2016 – 3-Day Women’s Motorcycle Summit Challenge
  • June 7 – 17, 2016 – 10-Day Rocky Mountain Motorcycle Summit Challenge Tour
